Baptism

Arrangements must be made in advance allowing time for an instruction prior to baptism.

Parents seeking baptism at St. Charles must contact the Paster at the Parish Office.

Reconciliation

To qualify for the process of preparation for Reconciliation:

	Must be Baptized Roman Catholic
	Must be at the age of discretion (about 7 years of age) or above

To be ready to begin preparation a child must also:

	Have had one year of prior, formal, religious education and
	Be currently enrolled in religious education, either in the parish school or in the parish Religious Education Program (REP)

To qualify for the process of preparation for First Communion:

	Must be Baptized Roman Catholic
	Must be at the age of discretion (about 7 years of age) or above
	Must have completed a Catholic Reconciliation Program

To be ready to begin preparation a child must also:

	Have had one year of prior, formal, religious education and
	Be currently enrolled in religious education, either in the parish school or in the parish Religious Education Program (REP)

To qualify for the process of preparation for First Communion:

	Must be Baptized Roman Catholic
	Must be at least a Junior in High School
	Must have completed a Catholic Reconciliation Program & First Communion Program and received First Communion

To be ready to begin preparation a child must also:

	Have had one year of prior, formal, religious education and
	Be currently enrolled in religious education, either in the parish school or in the parish Religious Education Program (REP)
	Have a basic understanding of what it means to belong to the Catholic Church
	Have begun a friendship with Jesus through prayer
	Have a desire to be part of the church

Consult the Rectory 6 months prior to wedding. Couples seeking marriage must attend Enrichment Program.
